Extending the boundaries of fashion and utilitarian design, Dr. Martens reunite with A-COLD-WALL* for an architectural reinterpretation of the infamous 1461 shoe.

As we officially said goodbye to the summer months at the weekend by welcoming in the shorter days, now's probably the time to look for a sturdy pair of shoes to see you through winter. Well, look no further as A-COLD-WALL and Dr. Martens are about to drop their latest collaboration.

Sharing a passion for well-made products inspired by respect and admiration for utilitarian design, it's no surprise Samuel Ross' A-COLD-WALL* have once again teamed up with the iconic British shoe brand Dr. Martens reimagining their ever-popular 1461 shoe.

Ross has applied his visionary lens to the silhouette by reflecting on his own working-class roots and those of the Dr. Martens brand, forging an immersive approach to design that sees the classic 1461 shoe conjure images of brutalist architecture and utilitarian design.

The 1461 ACW* design launches on 4 November and will be available to buy at a-cold-wall.com.
