Maoui joined Gentleman's Journal in early 2024. Before this, he was style editor at GQ. He has also contributed words to several publications including The Guardian, Independent, The Telegraph, Hero, Seventh Man, The Idle Man and Wonderland. Maoui mainly covers fashion (notably fashion weeks, celebrity style, designer collaborations and trainers), grooming and wellness, with work in both print and online.
Maoui's journalism has seen him interview the likes of Kris Van Assche, Kim Jones, Daniel W Fletcher and Christian Dior make-up artist, Peter Philips.
