Chinese model Wang Xiao grew up in Beijing. She emerged on the international fashion scene in 2010 after signing with Wilhemina, New York. Since famously chopping off her long black hair for a trademark bowl cut, Xiao landed a fragrance contract with Calvin Klein one, which was shot by top photographer Steven Meisel. She has walked in shows for various top fashion brands such as Thakoon and Mugler, and regularly features in publications such as Chinese Vogue and L'Officiel in addition to i-D, V and 10 magazine. In 2012, she appeared in the Spring/Summer Emporio Armani advertising campaign.
