Vinson Fraley

Dancer

Vinson Fraley is a dancer and singer from Atlanta, Georgia.

Fraley began his formal voice and drama training at DeKalb School of the Arts, and at 14 began dance training at DanceMakers of Atlanta under the direction of Denise and Lynise Heard.

He received his BFA in dance from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2015 and has since gone on to perform in works by Merce Cunningham, Carrie Mae Weems, Cora Bos-Kroese, Kate Skarpetowska, Sean Curran, Cindy Salgado, and Roderick George. He has assisted in setting original works on the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, The Dance division at the Juilliard School, and SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.

Fraley was a member of A.I.M (Abraham.in.Motion) from 2015 until joining the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company in 2017.  His movement direction has been seen in videos for Calvin Klein, Burberry, Serpentwithfeet, Vogue, Nike, and Pattern Beauty.  Vinson contributed an original music composition for the Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Company’s work titled Afterwardsness.
