UVA

Multimedia Designer

United Visual Artists (UVA) are a graphic multimedia team who came together in 2002 with a creative mission to produce innovative graphical installations for bands and live events. Members Matt Clark (Creative Director), Chris Bird and Ash Nehru each gained previous experience working for bands such as Leftfield, Nine Inch Nails, Pet Shop Boys and Feeder, and commercial clients including Adidas, Diesel, The Face, MTV, BBC, Royal College of Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

As a company, UVA's first client was Massive Attack. They developed visuals for the band's 2003 World Tour by working in close consultation with lead singer 3-D, whose concept was that 'everything can be represented as digital information'. UVA's other projects include collaborating with Basement Jaxx on tour visuals, and collaborating on an ambitious visual catwalk presentation for Hamish Morrow's Spring/Summer 2003 collection, with Nick Thornton Jones and Warren Du Preez.

UVA have exhibited their work widely, including 2019's solo show Other Spaces at 180 the Strand, London.
