Tori West is the founder and editor of BRICKS magazine, which she launched whilst on the Fashion Communications course at the University of West England. She is also the founder of Disaster Zine and both platforms support creative talent across a variety of medium. West regularly lectures on the fashion courses at the University of South Wales and has written for titles including ELLE, Nylon, DAZED and Gurls Talk. Her writing focuses on politics and feminist issues, emerging talent, fashion, art and identity and challenging societal constructs.
In 2017, West launched Publish Cardiff, a one-day publishing event of talks and workshops with an aim to combat the lack of alternative education methods available in Wales for creatives; DAZED, Refinery 29 and British Vogue all hosted talks.
