Susanna Brown is a writer and curator specialising in photography, portraiture and fashion.

The author of eight books, she has held curatorial roles at the National Portrait Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Her acclaimed exhibitions have been staged at more than twenty venues globally and include Tim Walker: Wonderful Things (2019), The History of Photography: The Body (2017) Horst: Photographer of Style (2014), Selling Dreams: One Hundred Years of Fashion Photography (2012), and Queen Elizabeth II by Cecil Beaton (2011). Brown is a curatorial advisor to the George Hoyningen-Huene Estate Archives and senior lecturer in photography at University of the Arts London.
