Roger Dubuis

Watchmaker

Roger Dubuis has been at the forefront of contemporary haute horlogerie since he founded his own fine watch company with business partner Carlos Dias in 1995. Dubuis fell in love with timepieces when working alongside the local cobbler in his native Swiss village. Dubuis then trained as a watchmaker in Geneva and later worked at Longines and Patek Philippe. After years of working for others, Dubuis became an independent watchmaker focusing mostly on the restoration of old timepieces and construction of movement. In 2005, Dubuis was forced to retire from his company due to government age restrictions, but returned in 2011 as a godfather and ambassador.
