Robin Derrick

Creative Director

Robin Derrick is a photographer and currently the creative director of British Vogue. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1984, going on to work for i-D. In 1986 Derrick was made creative director of The Face, later holding the title at Elle Italia, French Glamour and Arena UK. He was made creative director of Russian Vogue in 1998. In 1993, Derrick returned to London to take up the position of art director at British Vogue and was named creative director in 2001.

Derrick has twice been voted the PPA Magazine Designer of the Year. Over 20 years in the industry he has worked on Vogue's German, Russian, Spanish and Japanese editions as well as co-editing three photography books, including Unseen Vogue: The Secret History Of Fashion Photography (2002), and People in Vogue: A Century of Portrait Photography (2003).
