OFF-WHITE

Fashion Designer

OFF-WHITE is a fashion label founded by Virgil Abloh in 2012, and following Abloh's death in November 2021, the stylist Ib Kamara, who had worked the late designer's shows for several seasons, was named as art and image director.

Alongside men's and women's collections OFF-WHITE has collaborated with a number of brands including Nike and Champion and IKEA on a homeware range.

The brand collaborated with SHOWstudio to produce an exclusive line of customised hoodies. The concept stemmed from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition PUNK: Chaos to Couture and explores the notion of the youth street culture.

In August 2019, José Neves, owner of Farfetch, purchased New Guards Group, the parent organization of Off-White for US$675 million.
