Dame Natalie Massenet is a fashion entrepreneur, and co-Managing Partner of Imaginary Ventures alongside Nick Brown. Imaginary Ventures closed its first fund of $75m in April 2018, and its portfolio companies include AppearHere, Daily Harvest, Good American and Farfetch. In February 2017, Massenet was appointed non-executive co-Chairman of Farfetch to work alongside José Neves to help him grow the global brand and strengthen its partnerships in the fashion industry.
Massanet rose to fame for founding, in 2000, the luxury fashion online retailer, Net-a-Porter, and building one of the world's most influential fashion businesses operating across retail, media and publishing platforms.
In her last year in the role, before stepping down following the YOOX Net-a-Porter merger, the Net-a-Porter Group recorded net revenues of almost $1billion.
From 2013 to 2017, she was the chairman of the British Fashion Council.
