Mary Hoang is a fashion buyer, and has worked and studied within various areas of fashion including journalism, design and production management. Hoang has worked with brands such as Kurt Geiger, Preen and Burberry, and now oversees the e-commerce operations at NOT JUST A LABEL (NJAL), a platform for emerging fashion designers.

Having joined NJAL in 2011, Hoang has since travelled worldwide to hand-pick the unique items for sale in the NJAL online shop – a curated selection of fashion, accessories, jewellery and footwear from over 13,000 designers from 102 countries. Her role involves providing coaching and advice to designers on pricing strategy, product imagery, international export processes, and general development support for emerging designers worldwide.
