Maria Echeverri

Fashion Historian

Maria Echeverri is a fashion researcher and historian based in New York City. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Visual Culture: Costume Studies from New York University. In 2012, she co-curated the exhibition Imprint (NYC): The evolution of motifs in fashion, and her original investigation led to the first published history of novelty prints. For the past two years, she has worked as research assistant to designer Adam Selman. She specialises in image and periodical research, and she works in consultancy.
