Marc Hare

Shoe Designer

Marc Hare is a London-based shoe designer. Having no formal design training, Hare launched his eponymous men's shoe label, Mr Hare, in 2008, after conceiving the idea on a trip to Andalucia, Spain. Previously Hare has worked in PR, as a design consultant for British outdoor company Karrimore and as a marketing consultant for companies including Nike, Adidas, Dr Martens and Levi's. He has also owned two shops in London, the first in 1992, a surf shop named Low Pressure, and the second, Something, a groundbreaking fashion boutique.

In 2018, Hare was appointed to head the joint footwear venture between Pentland and Lacoste.
