Mae Sass

Digital Designer

Mae Sass is a London-based filmmaker and graphic designer. After interning at SHOWstudio in the Design and Film departments, she then went on to become Head of Digital and Content at the Sarabande Foundation, established by Lee Alexander McQueen. During this time, she also established herself as a freelance designer and independent film director working on music videos, performance and fashion films. Sass re-joined the SHOWstudio team in 2021 as senior digital designer.

She is interested in investigating the space between screen and real-life, challenging her practice with new technologies. Driven by a desire to understand the psychological and emotional elements that make people who they are, Sass uses her skills as a graphic designer, film director and editor to explore this. Her design and film work spans art, fashion and animation.
