Fashion East’s founder and director Lulu Kennedy has earned a reputation for discovering and championing London’s up-and-coming design talent. She previously directed the Lulu & Co clothing line and served as editor-at-large of Condé Nast’s style biannual LOVE magazine and has also worked privately as a consultant for brands.
Kennedy has scouted and launched many of London’s hottest fashion names with Fashion East and its menswear scheme MAN, including: Jonathan Saunders, House of Holland, Marios Schwab, Roksanda Ilincic, Gareth Pugh, Louise Gray, Richard Nicoll, Meadham Kirchhoff, James Long, Christopher Shannon and J.W. Anderson.

In March 2012 Kennedy was awarded an MBE for her exceptional contribution to the fashion industry.
