Lucinda Chambers

Fashion Director

Lucinda Chambers is the former Fashion Director of British Vogue, holding the position for 16 years.  She was educated at The Convent of the Sacred Heart Woldingham, and then Hornsey College of Art. In March 1980 she joined Vogue as secretary to Beatrix Miller, the editor. She joined the Fashion Department three years later before moving to ELLE as Fashion Director in September 1985. She rejoined Vogue in October 1992 and became Fashion Director in 1997 until 2017.

In 2018, she co-founded a womenswear label, Colville, with Molly Molloy and Kristin Forss. In 2019, she co-founded Collagerie, a shopping platform, with Serena Hood.
