Gavin studied history of art at Bard College before getting her kickstart in film where she worked on the set of At Eternity's Gate, directed by her friend Julian Schnabel, featuring actors Willem Dafoe, Rupert Friend and Oscar Isaac.
In addition to At Eternity's Gate, Gavin has received production and direction credits for short films The Companion (2020) and To Erase A Cloud (2021).
In 2022, Gavin was the face of Gucci Beauty, starring in the brand's campaign film debuting both the Fluide De Beauté Fini Naturel and Sérum De Beauté Fluide Soyeux products.
