KNWLS is a South London-based womenswear label founded by Charlotte Knowles and her partner Alexandre Arsenault in 2017. Knowles graduated from London College of Fashion in 2014, continuing her studies at Central Saint Martins, graduating from the MA programme in 2017.
She joined Fashion East shortly after graduating and showed with them for three seasons, presenting the brand's final collection with them during A/W 19. The brand celebrates femininity and sex positivity through deconstructed corsets, bras, underwear, and swimwear silhouettes.
In April 2021, the brand changed their name from Charlotte Knowles to KNWLS. KNWLS has been worn by numerous celebrities and appeared on screens on the likes of Bella Hadid, Solange and Hunter Schafer in HBO's Euphoria.
