Keith Tyson

Keith Tyson (b.1969) is an English artist who lives and works in Brighton, who won the Turner Prize in 2002. Tyson’s work spans over a diverse range of styles and is inspired by the human condition, space and science, psychological issues and probability. Tyson was awarded a Doctorate of Letters in 2005 from the University of Brighton and has work in many major international museum collections. Solo exhibitions include the exhibition of the major sculptural work Large Field Array; a multi-faceted sculptural installation which toured from the Louisiana Museum for Modern Art, Denmark, to the De Pont museum of contemporary art, Holland, 2006-07.
For A/W 11, Tyson collaborated with fashion label Mother of Pearl to produce a series of prints, which form the foundations of their collection.
