Katharine K. Zarrella

Katharine K. Zarrella is a New York-based journalist, critic, and editor, and the founder of online platform Fashion Unfiltered. In 2020, she was named fashion editor for the Wall Street Journal.

She currently contributes to publications including Harper's Bazaar, and Document Journal, among others. Having lived in Rome, Paris, and London, Zarrella launched her career by writing for such publications as InterviewWThe Business of Fashion, Dazed & Confused, and SHOWstudio.

After earning an MA in Fashion and Fashion Journalism from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she went on to become the associate news editor of Style.com and later, the senior editor of V Magazine and VMAN. In addition to her editorial work, Zarrella is a part-time lecturer at Parsons and an associate lecturer at Central Saint Martins.
