Jonathan Saunders

Scottish-born fashion designer Jonathan Saunders graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1999 with a BA in Printed Textiles, later completing with distinction the Central Saint Martins Printed Textiles MA in 2002. Having set up his own eponymous label, Saunders went on to show for nine seasons at London Fashion Week before transferring to New York in February 2008. Saunders returned to the LFW schedule following an invite in September 2009 from the British Fashion Council to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

Saunders was previously creative director of Milan-based fashion house Pollini, for whom he designed ranges for retail chains Target and Topshop. He closed his label in 2015, citing personal reasons. He continues to work as a designer and consultant.
