Joana Granero

Joana Granero was born in Tarragona. After graduating in Law from the University of Barcelona, she moved to London where she worked in publishing and got a MSc in Political and Social Theory from Birkbeck College. Out of a passion for cinema, she created the London Spanish Film Festival in 2005, an event that was to fill a gap in London's cultural panorama by bringing contemporary Spanish cinema in a well-defined context. Granero also founded Fashion & Cinema, a project involving a series of events exploring the relationship between fashion and cinema.
