Ivan Shaw is the corporate photography director overseeing the Condé Nast Archive in New York and serves as acting visuals editor for The World of Interiors.
Previously, he was photography director of Vogue. He has contributed to many books and exhibitions, including Chronorama: Photographic Treasures of the 20th Century (2023), The Editor's Eye (2012) and Extreme Beauty in Vogue (2009). He recently produced Pulp Power: The Shadow, Doc Savage and the Art of the Street and Smith Universe (2022), Tonne Goodman: Point of View (2019) and Hunks and Heroes: Four Decades of Fashion at GQ (2019). He presents lectures on the history of fashion photography and Condé Nast internationally.
