House Of Waris
Jeweller
House of Waris is a New York-based brand founded by Waris Ahluwalia in 2003. The company started in jewellery and accessories, and was nominated for the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund in 2009 and awarded a CFDA/NYCEDC Fashion Incubator grant soon thereafter.
Ahluwalia's high-end label took inspiration from romance and the history of ancient kingdoms, expanding to include a unisex scarf line in Autumn/Winter 2011. House of Waris products were featured in publications such as Vogue, i-D, W magazine and Purple, found fans in the likes of Rihanna and Chloe Sevigny, and were stocked in Colette, Barneys and Dover Street Market.
House of Waris has now transformed into House of Waris Botanicals, selling herbal teas and cosmetics.
