Fannie Schiavoni is a jewellery designer based in London. She is known for her chain metal accessories which have developed a cult following including the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Skin.
Schiavoni was born in Sweden and moved to London when she was 18 to study tailoring. During her studies Schiavoni did a number of internships for designers such as Hussein Chalayan and Giles Deacon. Before graduating from the London College of Fashion in the spring of 2009, Schiavoni had launched her first collection.
With a background in tailoring, Schiavoni’s experience with traditional methods of hand craft and attention to detail helped her develop a unique approach to the design of her chain metal accessories.
Browns Focus bought her first collection and in the same year she received the prestigious New Gen award from the British Fashion Council. Going on to be presented with the New Gen award for three consecutive seasons, Schiavoni’s sought after collections are stocked globally and can be found at 10 Corso Como Milan, Barneys NY, L'Eclaireur Paris and Curve LA.
Her collaborative projects have been with major brands including Swarovski and Diesel.
