Eric Dier

Eric Dier is an English-born professional and premier league football player. Dier was raised in Portugal's Algarve region before later moving to Lisbon, where he was picked up by Sporting Lisbon. Dier made his debut for England's Under 18 in 2011.

In August 2014 Dier signed a five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur, making his professional debut for the club during the 2014-2015 Premier League. He has since become hailed as one of the club's top midfielders. 

In 2018, Dier was announced as part of the 23-man English national team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and captained the squad for the final group stage match against Belgium on 28 June 2018.
