Eri Wakiyama

Born in Fukuoka, Japan, Eri Wakiyama moved to America as a child, settling into California’s Bay Area with her family. In 2005, Wakiyama moved to New York to pursue a degree in fashion design at Parsons School of Design. Alongside her studies, she simultaneously developed her own distinctive style of drawing and caricatures.

Wakiyama has been commissioned to create signature work for ALYX, Calvin Klein Platinum Label, Estée Lauder, John Masters Organics, Miu Miu, Sephora, and Supreme, among others.

She currently resides in Chinatown, New York, with her cat, Hedi. In 2019, Wakiyama had her first solo show, at Procell in New York.
