Dozie Kanu

Designer

Dozie Kanu is a designer and artist born in 1993. The Houston, Texas native moved to New York at 18 to study production design for film at the School of Visual Arts. After obtaining his BFA, Kanu began producing art and design works. He was discovered by veteran design dealer Paul Johnson and began working together with Johnson and Jeanne Greenburg Rohatyn for Salon 94.

In 2018, Kanu won the Hublot Design Prize, and his work has featured in multiple exhibitions including 2019's Transformer: A Rebirth of Wonder, 180 The Strand, London; and solo shows at The Studio Museum in Harlem, New York; JTG Detroit Project in 2019.

Kanu lives and works between Portugal and New York
