Dio Kurazawa is a trend forecaster and consultant. Kurazawa grew up running his family’s factory in Thailand before doing production for fast-fashion brands. During this time he saw firsthand how cost-cutting measures harmed workers and damaged the environment in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Mexico.
Kurazawa is a denim director of trend forecasting agency WGSN and runs his own company, The Bear Scouts. In this role, he’s a middleman between brands and manufacturers, helping labels to achieve their sustainability goals by overhauling their production and supply chains using innovative technology. Clients include 1017 ALYX 9SM, Ex Infinitas, and Soulland.
