Daniel Lopatin is a Brooklyn based musician who goes by the name Oneohtrix Point Never (OPN). OPN has been described as an experimental electronic music composer. Lopatin runs the record label Software Recording Co and in 2013 signed with Warp Records. He began releasing synth-based recordings in the mid-2000s, receiving initial acclaim for the 2009 compilation Rifts.

Lopatin has worked with artists such as Anohni, Tim Hecker, FKA Twigs and The Weeknd and has also released several side-projects, including the influential Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1 (2010). In 2014, OPN collaborated with Japanese label CavEmpt to create a limited run capsule collection. He has also composed scores for films such as The Bling Ring (2013), Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019). His work for Good Time won him the Soundtrack Award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
