Customers Own Property was a fashion design label created by London based German designer Sabine Brauninger. After graduating from the MA fashion womenswear course at Central Saint Martins in 2001, Brauninger gained work experience with Hussein Chalayan and Robert Cary-Williams and worked freelance assisting Kostas Murkudis for New York Industrie. Launched in 2002, Customers Own Property received New Generation Sponsorship from the British Fashion Council and Topshop from 2002 to 2004, launching the label on the official London Fashion Week schedule. From 2004-2006, the collections were presented at the Royal Academy of Arts.

Offering both menswear and womenswear designs incorporating elements of workwear and craftsmanship with an emphasis on proportion and relaxed masculine tailoring, Customers Own Property established its main customer base in Japan. The brand closed in 2011.
