Casablanca is a luxury menswear label by French-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer. Launched in 2018, Casablanca takes its name from the city in which Tajer’s parents met. The label mixes tailoring and sportswear to create a relaxed, unique apres-sport aesthetic, with signatures including hand-painted silk shirts and colourful towelling tracksuits. For S/S 20, Tajer collaborated with footwear label New Balance on an entirely new sole, being the first designer invited to do so. In 2020, Casablanca was a LVMH finalist and joint winner.

Previous to Casablanca, Tajer co-launched Paris-based label Pigalle in 2008, and held creative directorship of nightclub Le Pompom, whilst also collaborating with Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE brand.⁣
