Designer

Aissata Ibrahima is a London-based designer and creative director of her eponymous label. Having studied Fashion Design at University of the Creative Arts Rochester, Ibrahima went on to work for Hillier Bartley and Victoria Beckham prior to founding her label. She launched her debut S/S 20 collection with a 14-look campaign titled Lovers, narrating the struggles of modern courtship. Ibrahima also works on a number of creative projects, styling and coordinating for brands including Chloé and Amiri.

Ibrahima designs to break down traditional boundaries in gendered apparel, narrowing the divide in design perceived as separately masculine and feminine. She aims to endow strength in femininity and delicacy to masculinity whilst maintaining her narrative of reinventing the classic.
