Sarah Shikama

Sarah Shikama is a designer and visual artist. After studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she launched her own jewellery line, Shikama, in 2010. Shikama infuses her deep understanding of material and form into the jewellery, creating simple and sculptural pieces. She started an Instagram account, She Comes In Technicolor, which was a digital mood board with a strong emphasis on fashion and design from the sixties to the nineties, which gained the attention of the fashion community.
Shikama participated in New York Fashion Week, presenting her designs with Katie Gallagher's S/S 16 collection titled Chinatown. Shikama also works on custom pieces including for The Corner Store by stylist/creative director Stacey Nishimoto.
