Riccardo Tisci

Riccardo Tisci is a fashion designer born in Taranto, Italy. In February 2017, Tisci was named chief creative officer at Burberry. Tisci spearheaded the redesign of the Burberry brand and logo.

Tisci graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1999. Prior to launching his own label in 2004, Tisci worked for Puma, Antonio Berardi and Ruffo Research. In 2005, Tisci was named creative director for Givenchy ready-to-wear, haute couture and accessories, later taking over the menswear division in 2008. Tisci's Gothic sensibility and penchant for religious symbols hugely informed his work at Givenchy, garnering international press acclaim and increased sales.

In 2011, Tisci guest curated A Magazine and guest-edited Visionaire’s ‘Religion’ issue in 2013. Tisci dressed Rihanna for her Diamonds World Tour and Beyoncé and Jay-Z on their On the Run Tour. Tisci has collaborated with Nike on three capsule collections of shoes and sportswear apparel.
