Pfadfinderei

Design Agency

Pfadfinderei is an international design bureau, founded in 1998 by Thomas Bierschenk and Jan Taffelt and based in Berlin. The name, literally translated as ‘pathfinders’, is derived from the nature of their expertise in finding and visualizing creative paths. Their design encompasses a number of different media: initially focused on graphic design, their current work mixes graphics, video, typography, print and photography. Pfadfinderei have developed the idea of VJing: the live visualisation of music, often in multimedia installations.
