Olafur Eliasson

Olafur Eliasson is an Icelandic-Danish artist whose work spans sculpture, painting, photography, film and installation. Eliasson's projects transcend the confines of the museum and gallery as he seeks to engage the broader public sphere through architectural projects, large-scale installation art, and arts education. He was a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2009 to 2014 and is an adjunct professor at the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design in Addis Ababa since 2014. In 2012, Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen founded the social business Little Sun and in 2014, Eliasson and architect Sebastian Behmann founded Studio Other Spaces, an international office for art and architecture.
