Minter has a Bachelor’s degree in fine art from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in fine art from Syracuse University.
She has had solo exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (2005) and Salon 94 (2006, 2009) and was also included in the 2006 Whitney Biennial.
