Artaksiniya (real name Aksiniya Missyutah) is a Russian artist who hails from Bryansk. Artaksiniya works in Moscow, working in the fields of fashion illustration, fine art, textile design and animation. Clients include Gucci, Mercedes Benz, Lane Crawford, Reel, Commons&Sense, The V&A Museum and Totokaelo. She originally studied Journalism and Literature for six years before replacing words with strokes. Artaksiniya is a co-founder and a creative unit of the brand experiment Square Lust, which began in 2009 in the name of love for patterns and textiles.

Artaksiniya's works are rooted in reality, inspired by forms and angles of everyday life. 'My credo is to have no limits in work,' she declares, showing the same enthusiastic approach in small drawings, murals and large paintings. 'I want people to be delighted by seeing things from my point of view, gazing in the mirror of my pictures,' she adds.
