Fashion Film: Liminal Realm

'This project draws inspiration from a recurring dream I once had: an ice cream truck with a peculiar queue of people, their bodies covered in brown powder, with long, pointed spines protruding from them. Among the crowd stands a little ethereal girl in white, holding a balloon and eating her ice cream.

I find myself approaching her. We are the same age, but I am part of the dark side of the queue. Starving, I reach out to take her ice cream. As I get closer, one of my spikes bursts her balloon. She looks at me—and transforms into a monster.

At that moment, I wake up, questioning: Am I the dreamer, or am I the one being dreamed? The two become indistinguishable.

In this short video, it’s more than just fashion—it’s a journey into the psyche. It’s a confrontation with visions that disturb you and linger long after you wake. The scenes flash quickly, like fragments of a forgotten dream, leaving no time to fully grasp them, mirroring the fleeting nature of memory itself.

This is the liminal space between dreams and nightmares, a realm where the strange and sublime coexist, where creatures born of imagination challenge our perceptions of beauty, fear, and desire.

Set in Puglia, each location in the project is seamlessly blended with HARRI pieces, drawing inspiration from the shapes and forms of these landscapes.'
