Asking what's left of a 'brand identity' once its creative director jumps ship, Mahlich dives straight in to dissect Peter Hawkings' Tom Ford debut, noting it to be a show that was full of respect, with his reverence bordering on imitation at times. Regardless, Hawkings' collection hammered home Tom Ford's 1990s declaration 'Sex Sells' - with glaringly obvious Gucci A/W 196 references to back up this point.
