Asserting Wales Bonner is 'not just a designer, but a historian, an artist', Mahlich revelled in what's been called a 'new chapter' for the brand. As the designer asserted her presence at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi through a focus on tailoring, deconstruction, endless trims and hidden intricate details; onlookers witnessed a vision of beauty - one so pure, Mahlich admitted the collection images don't even do Wales Bonner's vision the justice it so richly deserves.
