Dissecting Ackermann's tribute - the fourth guest haute couture debut for the house - the panellists all agree that this will inspire the next generation of designers to come, noting Ackermann's own similarity to l'enfant terrible of Paris fashion. While weaving in subtle nods to previous Jean Paul Gaultier collections, the panellists affirmed that Ackermann stood on his own two feet with his haute couture debut, a stance Gaultier hoped for when he opened up his house for other designers to interpret.
