While the panellists reflect on the cult status Simons has achieved over the last ten years; they float the idea of whether this has affected the, or at least what used to be, impenetrably strong narrative within his own work.
Touching upon his different stints at Jil Sander, Dior and Calvin Klein to his present-day position at Prada, the panellists also propose that Simons' eponymous label allows himself room to experiment away from the high demands of influential fashion houses. Overall they conclude that regardless of what people think of his latest collections, the name 'Raf Simons' won't be leaving the lips of fashion's most dedicated followers anytime soon, for better or for worse.
