They say if it ain't broke, don't fix it, so it's little surprise that it was business as usual at Neil Barrett's S/S 15 show. Great graphic sweatshirt? Check. Super-skinny slim pants? Of course. Good bomber? Naturally.

The interest this season came in a subtle relaxing and loosening of the silhouette. Barrett's shapes in the past have at points looked almost cocoonish - see those popular nipped in jackets and rounded sweatshirts - so for S/S 15 he was focusing on a more laid-back, easy approach. Tops and jackets came with zips up the side, creating a more linear shape and giving the wearer the ability to shove his hands casually into his pockets. Little of this slouchiness had been translated into the trousers, which came cropped at the ankle and fitted as can be, but Barrett does love a skin-tight trew, and this was a celebration of his signatures.

The show ran in colour groups - white, grey and camel through to navy then head-to-toe black. But then this collection focused on proposing wardrobe staples, so it's apt that it was colour blocked as Barrett's work is about block building (wear with anything outerwear, hard-working tailoring and jumpers that fit seamlessly into ones closet and can be pulled out time and time again). It's very telling that there was a camo print in there somewhere - rendered from digitally corrupted shots of antique statues - as these pieces served to fit it not stand out.
