Show Report: Carven S/S 15 Womenswear

Guillaume Henry’s unique mix of sporty and pretty found a sartorial nirvana today in a collection that took inspiration from Japanese comics and the Mod look. Car coats and bomber jacket were printed with beach scene cartoons and Sakura landscapes were paneled into pieces.

Meanwhile, sporty, cycling touches felt new in a retro sort of way – zip fronted jersey minidresses and the like – taking Carven out of bourgeois mode. This was streetwear, but it was a chic version of it.
