Natty knitwear trio Sibling kicked off day two of the London Collections with designers Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery launching their first runway presentation.

Sticking with their unique signature of creative knitwear blending bold colour with British wit the team produced a dynamic and high voltage collection. With ‘Revolution’ as a theme and graffitied on the back wall of the catwalk models in masks and pom pom heads stalked the runway in radical knits.

The riot that ensued involved modern sportswear fused with cleverly crafted knits. Oversized sleeveless sweatshirts, layered running shorts and double-arm trompe l’oeil cardigans all played to the revolutionary take on the jumper. A sparkly gold knit was layered over a white shirt and matching three calf length joggers were hemmed with pink elastic. Gold Lurex set against white and pink ensured the munity upheld the cause. Even the prints were riotous, showing wrecked phone booths and shop fronts and groups of hoodies.

A well-executed and dexterous collection by Sibling, who epitomize London’s cool fraternity. And take away the hedonistic styling - there are still commercial pieces that will define the streets of East London and infiltrate far beyond.
