Katie Eary who graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2008 continues to develop her dynamic onslaught of energetic menswear. With a signature style of bold prints and hyper colour Eary’s vision is engagingly upbeat.
For spring Eary’s new collection referenced Versace’s gold baroque-prints moulded onto street wear shapes. Informed by Californian skater kids, Eary’s models sported baggy silhouettes with bold symmetrical prints including fish scales and octopus tentacles emblazoned on jersey and neoprene sweatshirts, baggy knee-length shorts, and zip-front hoodies.
Models marched the runway with skateboards and rucksacks personifying Eary’s maximalist approach to bling. Inherently youthful, the collection glistened from the runway and cemented Eary’s position at the epicenter of casual cool.
