Panel Discussion: Prada A/W 21 Womenswear

published on 26 February 2021

PC Williams is joined by Mona Haidar, Soki Mak and Rosie Wallin to discuss the Prada A/W 21 womenswear show. By observing that this is Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada's most successful co-designed collection, the group touches upon the evocative sensory overload made apparent through the set design and comment on how it compliments the overall contrasting textiles and knits used in the collection. Picking apart Mrs Prada's signature 'ugly chic' look, the group discuss the pair's use of knitwear as an extension of the body while commenting on the overall sexiness, allowing the collection to transcend many generations of women.
